Job Description:
- Global IT Helpdesk Associate Engineer position is based out of Chennai location.
- Technical Support role requires good communication skills with basic computer knowledge & networking skills to deliver excellent support.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 60% and above throughout the academics.
- No standing arrears.
- Experience should be 0-2 years.
- Should be willing to work in rotational shifts (including night shifts).
- Should possess good communications Skills.
- Should have experience or knowledge in IT Service Desk / Technical troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding on Operating System (Win 10).
- Basic Networking knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of Email clients, MS Office, Office 365.
Job Responsibilities:
What you’ll do:
- Provide 24/7 IT Support via Chats, Tickets, and Calls.
- L1 Support for Frequently used applications like MS Office, Zoom, VPN, Box, SharePoint etc.
- First point of contact to handle IT issues from internal users.
- Troubleshoot technical issues through remote desktop connection.
- Modify email distribution list permissions Modify Active Directory groups.
- Software installations and Repairs.
- Document the issues correctly, Handle/escalate the tickets promptly in Ticketing tool like service-now.
- Maintain Service Level Agreement for all the tickets.
- Prompt response to the emails received in the shift.
