Eligibility Criteria:
- Computer Science or equivalent bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 75% in all academics.
- Deep knowledge of Java, and related web and enterprise frameworks.
- Knowledge of Linux, Eclipse, SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience working in small teams as well as independently using agile programming techniques.
- Good in analytical, logical thinking and passion for learning new things .
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Nice to have familiarity with Git, Gradle, Play.
- Familiarity with selenium, htmlUnit is preferred.
Job Description:
- Looking for developers responsible for building java application that directly impacts the energy use and carbon emissions of large corporations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new products and product modules.
- Refactor and maintain current products with an emphasis on scalability.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, robust, and reliable Java code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Help maintain code quality, organizational operational metrics
- Drive projects (either as an individual or as part of a small team) to completion.
- Participate in peer technical design review sessions to drive best practices and optimize designs/solutions.
- Work with build/release engineering, QA, and support to ensure all aspects of a project are well documented, tested and supported.
- Participate in requirements discovery and functional requirements with key team members and product stakeholders to ensure detailed understanding of the request.
- Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop robust, reliable and scalable code and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.
- Your responsibility would also include triaging production issues quickly and fixing them to meet customer SLAs.
- Your responsibility will also occasionally involve developing tools that will help the organization meet customer needs and operational SLAs.
