Job Description:

  • BNP Paribas is hiring for Trainee Software Engineer – Chennai.
  • Provide a brief description of the overall purpose of the position, why this position exists and how it will contribute in achieving the teams goal.
  • The current requirement is to on board a candidate, who can support onboarding of new users to our Application.
  • The associate will be working in one of the strategic projects of BNP Paribas and will help in enhancing applications to be used by Corporate Clients.
  • The candidate should possess good interpersonal skills and experience in multi-geographical work model.
  • Experience Level: Beginner.

Direct Responsibilities:

  • Should have both verbal and written communication skills.
  • Should be able to understand user requirements and resolve their access issues.
  • Adhere to project process and guidelines.
  • Discuss with Production support team for any user queries.
  • Support Application validation for specific functionalities.
  • Able to develop reports using Excel graphs and pie charts.

Contributing Responsibilities:

  • Track user requests and provide appropriate reports to Management.
  • Support testing team in completing some regression tests.

Technical Behavioral Competencies:

Required Technical Skills:

  • Basic Excel skills to track user requests and generate reports.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL to write simple Select Update queries.

Behavioral Competencies:

  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge in any defect tracking tools / Jira.
