Job Description:

• Cisco is hiring for Software Consulting Engineer.

Your Impact:

• Cisco Systems has an open opportunity for an engineer capable of covering Cisco’s Software Defined and automation portfolios.
• It is expected that the successful candidate will have good knowledge of software defined technologies, software automation, development approaches/methodologies
• The candidate will support Cisco’s large SP and Enterprise customers.
• As such, there is an expectation that he/she will be able to work with customers and their team leads to create and execute on customers IT transformation.
• From early engagement with the customer gathering requirements to solution delivery and execution of the solution would follow under the charter.
• The role requires stakeholders’ influence & management skills, ability to collaborate among teams to drive Cisco and customer success

Minimum Qualifications:

• Recent graduate or on your final year of studies towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• The requirement is for 2027 passout only.
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering with an aptitude for learning new technologies .
• Strong knowledge of programming and scripting languages.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Solid fundamentals of Data Structures, Algorithms, Object oriented design and programming.
• Strong knowledge on Unix/Linux systems and Unix scripting.
• A good understanding of Cloud based application development (using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS services) and think about security and scalability.
• Strong knowledge of programming and scripting languages like JAVA, Python, Scala, GoLong etc.
• Familiar with more than one development environment, well-versed with at least one.
