Job Description:

• Paytm is looking for a Data Analyst Intern to support product, business, and analytics teams in deriving insights from data.
• This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who want hands-on experience working with real-world datasets in a fast-paced fintech environment.
• Stipend: Rs. 10,000/month.
• 6 months duration.
• Starts within 1 month.
• Work Location: Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from multiple sources.
• Perform basic exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and anomalies.
• Write SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
• Support in building dashboards & visualizations (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Help generate reports and actionable insights for business teams.
• Work with team members to improve data quality and reporting processes.
• Document datasets, queries, and workflows.

What We’re Looking For:

• Students or Recent Graduates (Preferably from Engineering or related fields).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for technology and product thinking.

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Familiarity with Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts).
• Understanding of data analysis fundamentals & statistics.
• Exposure to Python or R (good to have).
• Interest in working with data and solving business problems.
