Job Description:

• S&P Global is hiring for Apprentice (Software Development/Engineer) – Bangalore.
• We are looking for an Apprentice Software Developer who is eager to start a career in technology and software development.
• This is a learning-focused role where you will quickly absorb knowledge after onboarding, gain hands-on experience in application development, and progressively contribute to the team by supporting activities across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC).
• You will also develop functional understanding of energy markets, to help build and support solutions aligned to business needs.

Eligibility Criteria:

• B.Tech CS/IT or any related course.
• Basic programming knowledge and interest in software development.
• Strong willingness to learn, take feedback, and apply it quickly.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a agile environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the team across all SDLC phases including requirements understanding, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) and deliver assigned tasks within agreed timelines.
• Show continuous improvement through training, internal knowledge sessions, and mentorship.
