Job Description:
- As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and implementing tests that prove the functional and non-functional requirements of Sigview.
- Sigview is a real-time data visualisation and analysis tool for high velocity and high volume of data.
- You will need to monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Should be a Bachelors in Technology.
- Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
- Able to write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Understanding of both white box and black box testing.
- Understanding in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Good to Have Skills:
- Knowledge of automated testing tools.
- Basic grasp of performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- Fundamental knowledge in Javascript.
- Prior Internship/Experience in a Development/Testing in a software company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Test and prove that the software meets major architectural requirements and provide meaningful feedback.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
- Identify and create document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing features to meet client needs.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
- Monitor debugging process results.
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
