Job Description:

As a Full Stack Developer

• You’ll will be part of the worldwide team developing Micro Services to strengthen the Cognitive experience of IBM offerings for its customers.
• You will work within the IBM`s Marketplace, working with stakeholders, management and other squads delivering a world-class experience to our customers and business partners.
• We are looking for Technical Innovators and Creative Thinkers who will be responsible for designing / architecting and developing features/modules and contribute to development planning for a sprint interacting with architects and product managers worldwide.
• You will have flexibility to work across architecture – building both front end and backend.
• You will have knowledge of application and web development in HTML and CSS.
• You are skilled in programming languages like Javascript, Ruby, Python, Java.
• You will have knowledge of modern frameworks such as Node.js and Angular.js
• You would have an interest in, understanding of, or experience with Design Thinking Methodology.
• You work in Java to implement server-side or application logic, develop databases, and design architectures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop back-end portions of web services.
• Create and talk to REST services.
• Develop front-end applications.
• Shift between multiple projects and technologies.
• Write clean code and test it throughout the development process to ensure the quality is up to standards.
• Work on software that is used by millions of people all around the world is a challenge that you’re willing to tackle.
• Perform peer reviews and mentor the team to evolve into full stack developers.
• Encourage a self-motivated squad model of working from handling design, development, test and operations for the micro services.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• 0-2 years of IT experience.
• Relevant industry and software development experience.
• Proven experience in Java, Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Node.js, Angular.js.
• Experience and deep skills in system level language like Core Java, Backend language like Node.js and Framework based language like JavaScript with Angular or React.
• Proven experience in UI Development technologies such as HTML/CSS, JSON and REST API development experience (APIs like REST / RESTful APIs).
• Should have Full stack development experience and Microservices Architecture.
• Experience in any Databases like SQL / NoSQL.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Understand requirements, design, code, and test high-quality mobile apps, using cross-platform technologies such that the resulting apps operate on Apple iOS and Google Android, from a single code base.
• Take wireframes from conception to implementation and design and improve user interfacing.
• Work in frameworks such as: Flutter, React Native, or Ionic, using cross-platform mobile app development programming languages like Dart or JavaScript.
• Have an interest in, understanding of, or experience with mobile app.
