Job Description:
- Under guidance , codes or configures software functionality according to functional specifications.
- Unit tests code and debugs accordingly.
- Coordinates with all members of the project team.
- Adheres to CSG software development standards and procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review requirements / feature / story definitions and acceptance criteria and create test scripts and test data under direction from test leads.
- Attend walk-throughs of new functionality.
- Modify test scripts and test data.
- Execute basic test scripts and record results.
- Adheres to CSG software development standards and procedures.
- Coordinates own tasks to complete assigned tasks on time.
- Works co-operatively with the team.
- Regular and reliable attendance is required.
- Work is generally structured as a set of activities or problem situations, assigned and scheduled by others.
Work Environment:
- Standard office environment.
- Available for international and domestic travel when needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Understanding of client requirements.
- Strong understanding of a testing methodology.
- Uses structured techniques to solve fundamental problems within one’s own work.
- Communication skills to understand and clarify basic instructions.
- Broad understanding of UNIX operating environment.
- A curious, Sherlock Holmes mind-set looking for possible problems in SW being delivered.
