Job Description:

• Amazon is hiring for Investigation Specialist (Work From Home).
• Please note that this job is a seasonal role (FTC) for 12 months on the payroll of Amazon.

• Amazon is looking for a high-judgment individual to join us as an Investigator, to evaluate transactions and safeguard Amazon’s global customer base, profitability, and brand while maintaining a high bar of customer experience.
• We are specifically seeking applicants with fluent English language skills to support our global operations teams; however, you will be supporting the UK business as well.
• Would suit a recent graduate.

• The mission of Shopping Experience Protection Operations is to build trust with all its Customers & Partners – Buyers, Brands, Vendors, Sellers, and Employees – in reality and perception.

• Selling partner risk operations investigator will be responsible for a wide range of duties related to the investigation and Elimination of online ecommerce risk.
• They will have experience in the ecommerce payments space, previous trust and safety experience and experience succeeding in a customer-driven workplace.
• Investigators will be analytical and capable of succeeding in a fast-paced team environment.
• These Investigator position relies on excellent judgment to plan and accomplish goals and will work under very limited supervision of the Manager.
• Excellent individual problem-solving and analytical skills are used to authenticate customers and complex transactions.
• Nearly all decisions are expected to be made independently with little to no guidance and a high degree of accuracy.
• SPRO Investigator will be required to engage in frequent written and verbal communication with department management, risk analysts, risk engineers, other company associates and third-parties to accomplish goals.
• They may also be required to contact customers by phone.
• Productivity and quality assurance will be evaluated along with the overall contribution to the development of the department.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Take appropriate action to identify and help minimize the risk posed by fraud patterns and trends.
• Communicate via email and telephone with buyers, merchants, and other external and internal customers.
• Maintain Amazon’s site quality by enforcing Amazon’s Policy Guidelines.
• Take appropriate action based on established procedures and document those actions.
• When procedures are not available, follow established escalation paths to ensure resolution.
• Participate in other special projects/assignments and Partner with appropriate business teams as necessary.
• Achieve weekly productivity and quality standards for investigations.
• Experienced in the internet space and capable of succeeding in a fast-paced team environment.
• Be prepared to be flexible with working hours and work Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Basic Qualifications:

• Excellent written and spoken English skills and an ability to compose grammatically correct, concise and accurate written responses.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues correctly and clearly to both internal and external customers.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and make complex investigation decisions with little to no guidance.
• Exceptionally strong customer handling and conflict resolution skills with a keen focus on quality and customer experience.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze problems logically.
• Self-disciplined, diligent, proactive and detail oriented.
• Effective prioritization of work time to ensure productivity, fulfill department standards for time spent and individually prioritize multiple tasks of competing urgency.
• Demonstrated ability to exceed expectations with regard to performance and individual contribution.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to recognize non-obvious patterns.

Additional Information:

• Shifts: Rotational (it is a 24/7 shift environment and shifts are rotational – changes every 3-4 months).
• Weekly Off: Rotational two- consecutive day off (it is a 5-day working week with 2 consecutive days off. The off days changes every 3-4 months).
