Qualification:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree (Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/ Power Systems Engineering) – BE/BTech/ME/MTech

Eligibility Criteria:

• Knowledge in basic electronic engineering fundamentals, Electrical protection, substation automation and SCADA.
• Understanding on Test management tools like Quality Center & Agile project management tools like Rally and Jira.
• Good analytical and learning skills.
• Good troubleshooting skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Job Description:

• This job will entail understanding product requirements, planning and executing the tests on software for Grid Automation, Substation Protection Relays.
• Should have good understanding of Test Automation Framework development, skilled in test automation with the ability to develop and implement test automation scripts.
• Performance testing skills and knowledge on quality standards and processes.
• Ability to debug, report issues and scenarios that arise from a complex multi-product based system.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with GE IEDs (Protection relays, Data Acquisition systems), getting complete understanding on all their aspects.
• Work on preparation of test automation plan & procedures. Author and execute as per test plans.
• Should be flexible to work on manual testing and automation based on business need.
• Build and verify the operation of new and existing Test Automation assigned and ensure quality and adherence to timelines.
• Prepare relevant testing automation documentation.
• Should support the continued designing, building, testing and deployment of effective Test Automation Solutions/ Test Automation Framework for the tool suites.
• Document and present automation test results as per the QA policies and procedures.
