- Minimum 0-1 year of relevant experience/Freshers trained in SQL Server DBA.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

Job Description:
- Database Administrator at L1 level for MSSQL Server 2005 and MSSQL 2008
- Performance Tuning , Log Shipping & mirroring setup and configuration.
- Daily MSSQL Server Instance Monitoring; Performance Tuning, Troubleshooting, Backup & restoration of Databases, User Activity & MSSQL log analysis, Log Shipping & mirroring setup and configuration, SQL login management, DR setup & recovery.
Job Responsibilities:
- Verify all instances are up & working.
- Look into new alert log entries and checking for any errors.
- Verify the success of the Database backup.
- Verify the success of the Database archiving to tape.
- Check table space usage.
- Checking if there is enough disk space for the data files to grow.
- Monitoring temporary segments usage.
- Checking for DB links that are inaccessible.
- Finding invalid objects and fixing them.
- Checking session locks.
- Monitoring overall Database health & performance.
- Identifying tables with chained rows & rectifying them.
- Monitoring users and transactions.
- Escalating issues and providing feedback and suggestions.
- Work on assigned.
