Job Description:

• Volvo Group in India is looking for young and aspiring Graduates and Post Graduates to take up roles ranging from Software Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Purchase Engineer, Design and Mechanical Engineer – there are many exciting opportunities in the areas of future technologies – automation, electromobility, connectivity, etc.

Job Description (Graduate Engineer):

• We are searching for a dependable Associate Engineer to join our capable team.
• The Associate Engineer will be responsible for completing all tasks assigned by the supervisor, assisting other engineers with projects, conducting research, and writing reports.
• You should be able to follow instructions, but also take initiative and come up with innovative ideas.
• To be successful an Associate Engineer, you should have a growth mindset and a commitment to lifelong learning.
• Outstanding candidates should be highly observant, willing to assist wherever possible, and eager to readily engage with teams outside of their area of specialization.

Eligibility Criteria (Graduate Engineer):

• BE/BTech any streams.
• 2020, 2021 & 2022 Pass out batch.
• 65% throughout the entire academics with no active backlogs.

Requirements (Graduate Engineer):

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Previous experience in a technical field would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superb time management and professionalism.
• A growth mindset and willingness to accept criticism.

Roles & Responsibilities (Graduate Engineer):

• Understanding project requirements and completing all duties assigned by the Supervisor.
• Shadowing senior staff members, asking questions, and assisting wherever possible.
• Raising concerns and making suggestions for improvement where appropriate.
• Conducting research and traveling to sites.
• Observing health and safety regulations at all times.
• Participating in meetings and attending workshops and other training initiatives.
• Analyzing data and writing reports according to specifications.
• Taking notes and sharing your findings with your Supervisor and other relevant stakeholders.
• Establishing professional relationships with staff.
• Maintaining a high degree of professionalism and diligence.

CTC (Graduate Engineer):

• Min INR 7.5 LPA (Fixed) + Variable Pay + Gratuity + Medical Insurance

Job Description (Post Graduate Engineer):

• We are searching for a reliable and organized Engineer to join our organization.
• The Engineer’s responsibilities include completing all assigned tasks, which may include, performing duties in different departments, gaining knowledge of operations, learning how to handle disputes, attending meetings and workshops, traveling to other offices, providing support and suggestions for improvement, updating records, and preparing documentation.
• You should also be able to complete any required evaluations.
• To be successful an Engineer, you should have superb attention to detail and be able to promptly identify problems.
• Outstanding candidates will have great leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Eligibility Criteria (Post Graduate Engineer):

• ME/MTech any streams.

• Completing all assigned tasks and assisting with day-to-day operations.
• Participating in meetings, workshops, and other learning opportunities.
• Observing and learning from experienced staff members.
• Gaining knowledge of company policies, protocols, and processes.
• Taking detailed notes and liaising with Managers, Supervisors, and other senior staff.
• Fulfilling any requirements and meeting goals set out at the start of the traineeship.
• Following all company regulations, and health and safety codes.
• Preparing documents and updating records.
