Job Description:

• The Hackett Group is hiring for Trainee (Java) – Hyderabad (Telangana).
• Understand the values and vision of the organization and align the activities accordingly.
• Protect the Intellectual Property
• Adhere to all the policies and procedures.
• Work with other line functions to collect or provide relevant data.
• Design, implement and maintain java application phases.
• Drive best practice, quality and consistency within design and development phases.
• Identify production and non-production application issues.
• Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of java developed projects.
• Provide technical support and consultation for java application and infrastructure questions.
• Provide direct support to Development Manager as requested.
• Establish, refine, and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed.
• Develop, test, implement and maintain application software working with established processes.
• Recommend changes to improve established java application processes.
• Develop technical designs for application development.
• Develop application code for java programs.
• Develop and execute unit test plans.
• Support formal testing and resolve test defects.
• Development, Maintenance and Support issues during the project lifecycle – pre and post go-live.
• Understanding the complex business functional specifications through the full software development lifecycle.
• Provide technical assistance to other teams like Quality Assurance and business analysis.
• Fixing the bugs as and when reported within the agreed time frames and Quality standards.

Essential Skills:

Job:

• Excellent coding skills are essential especially in JAVA.
• Proficiency in Core java, JSP, Servlets, ORM, JavaScript, HTML and Tomcat.
• Must have expert knowledge in Java based web services, Relational Databases, SQL, J2EE framework, Object Oriented Analysis and Design, EJB (Enterprise Java Beans) and Test-Driven Development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Must be dynamic, flexible and possess perseverance skills.
• Must have good knowledge of Debugging of Issues.

Personal:

• Should have understanding of business objectives and organization structure.
• The candidate must have strong work ethics and trustworthiness.
• The candidate should possess attention to detail and also maintain confidentiality and integrity.
• Must be highly collaborative and be a team player with commitment to excellence.

Preferred Skills:

Job:

• Should be proficient in Microsoft Office.
