Job Description:

• Qualcomm is hiring for Associate Engineer – Hyderabad.

General Summary:

• As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products that meet and exceed customer needs.
• Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.

Job Overview:

• Work on design and development of 5G protocol stack. Work on layer 1, layer 2 and layer 3 of 5G NR protocol stack.
• 3GPP 5G NR Feature development
• Job responsibilities include system level feature coding, developing, and executing unit test.
• Work with internal test team and external customers to resolve issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, ECE, EE, CE, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and 0-1 years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• Familiarity with 3GPP 5G NR Specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in NR or LTE protocol development experience.
