Job Description:

• Johnson Controls is hiring for Software Tester/Test Engineer – Hyderabad.
• Employment Type: Full-Time.
• We are seeking a skilled Software Tester to join our dynamic team.
• You will be responsible for testing software applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring that all functionality is operating as expected.
• The ideal candidate will have skills of manual and automated testing, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for ensuring software quality.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum 60% in all academics.
• 2023/2024 Pass outs.

Job Responsibilities:

• We’re a collaborative bunch, so you’ll contribute to all phases of the SDLC, from planning, development, testing and release.
• You will work closely with Scrum teams to deliver products on time with quality.
• You’ll also coordinate with the Architect’s to understand and maintain an in-depth understanding of the current and upcoming requirements for proposed releases.
• We work in a fast-moving agile set-up, so expect to pitch in with other responsibilities from time to time.

How you will do it:

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve software defects.
• Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure consistent test coverage.
• Report and track bugs using test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).
• Conduct regression testing to verify fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets business requirements.
