Job Description:
- The Associate Product Support Specialist is responsible for IT application support activities including maintenance, administration, and Level 2 support.
- They will work closely with the Eurofins resources working in Labs, Business Analyst and Service Desk to provide Level 2 support and to ensure timely and efficient resolution of IT application-related incidents and service requests.
- They will support Change and Problem management process also.
- This role involves 24/5 rotational shifts supporting internal customers (within the organization) and On-Call support.
- Reporting To: Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop expertise on in-house applications.
- Responsible to drive all technical and functional issues towards closure.
- L2 support – diagnosis, investigation, resolution, coordination with business, application owners, infrastructure support.
- Creation of ticket and tracking through lifecycle.
- Co-ordinate with L3 support for application bug/ enhancement requirement.
- Support L3 team during implementation.
Desired Skills:
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good Knowledge on ASP.net, C#, VB Script, Java Script ,SQL server.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Ability to produce clear written material.
- Customer focused and goal orientated with keen attention to detail.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to follow tasks through to completion.
- Ability to communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
