Job Description:
- Shift Timings: US Shift timing.
- Notice Period: Immediate joiner – 1 month notice.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Freshers who have completed CCNA/CCIE/CCNP certification is eligible.
- Should have good knowledge on Networking fundamentals and from Network Security background
- Should be flexible and good team player.
- Should have excellent communication.
- Willing to work in night shifts.
Engineer Primary Duties:
- Troubleshoot all Level 1/ 2 Calls from customers.
- Ensure consistent customer satisfaction.
- Document all communication with customers in the CRM.
- Notify/Discuss with TL/Manager on tickets that require assistance.
- Plan and constantly work on upgrading tech and product expertise.
- Contribute to the knowledge base/ Tech Forum.
- Timely handoff ( escalation) of cases that require technical escalation to L3 TAC.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide the customers with Technical Support within the defined parameters of the Support Services including customers with defined SLAs, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction, covering our Network product.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting via remote sessions to modify customer’s environment towards a resolution that include, but are not limited to: Installation issues, best practice configuration, network troubleshooting, Windows, Linux, Mac and Unix OS configuration.
- Handle technical escalations within team response/resolution targets.
- Ability to work weekend and on-call shifts on a rotational basis.
- Provide Team Leader or Manager feedback with regards to Technical Support procedures and policies, with the goal of improving overall customer satisfaction as well as engineer efficiency.
Basic Skills:
- Good understanding of OSI Model, TCP/IP protocol suite (IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP,SNMP, FTP, TFTP).
- Experience in VLANS, Tagging – IEEE 802.1q, 802.3ad, 802.1d,802.1w.
- Experience in IPSEC VPN/SSL-VPN/NAT/GRE/.
- Experience on routing protocols – RIP V1/V2, OSPF, BGP.
Core Skills:
- Knowledge on Authentication Protocols like TACAS/RADIUS/802.1x.
- Working knowledge on Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper, Fortinet, SonicWall, Netscreen, Juniper SRX.
- Experience on troubleshooting tools like Sniffer, Ethereal, Wireshark.
- CCNA, CCNP, Checkpoint Certification, CCSP.
- PCCSA PCNSA PCNSE ACE certification is an added adavantage.
- Candidate should have the logical approach.
