Job Description:

• CGI is hiring freshers for Python AI Apprentice.
• Category: Software Development/Engineering.
• Employment Type: Full Time.
• Duration: 6 to 12 Months (Apprenticeship Program).
• Work Location: Bangalore.

Role Summary:

• We are looking for an enthusiastic and self motivated Python AI Apprentice to join our AI and Automation team.
• The apprentice will work on developing AI powered applications, automation solutions, machine learning models, and data driven insights using Python and modern AI technologies.
• This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about programming, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and emerging technologies, and are eager to gain hands on industry experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python based applications and automation scripts.
• Assist in building AI and Machine Learning solutions using modern frameworks.
• Work with structured and unstructured datasets for data analysis and model training.
• Support the development of Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) applications.
• Create APIs and integrations for AI enabled solutions.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and optimizing Python applications.
• Collaborate with senior developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
• Document code, processes, and technical solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, Machine Learning, and Python technologies.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or pursuing final year) in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electronics & Communication or Related engineering disciplines.
• Experience Required: Freshers/0 to 1 Year.

Technical Skills:

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python programming.
• Understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Familiarity with data structures and algorithms.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Exposure to Machine Learning fundamentals.
• Understanding of REST APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of Git/version control systems.
• AI/ML Knowledge.
• Basic understanding of: Machine Learning concepts; Data preprocessing; Model training and evaluation; Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs); Prompt Engineering.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with any of the following:

• Pandas.
• NumPy.

• OpenAI/Azure OpenAI Services.
• Streamlit or Flask.
