Eligibility Criteria:
- Good knowledge of Concepts for SDLC & Bug Life Cycles.
- Knowledge of QA concepts and methodology and industry-standard testing tools
- Good understanding of any test management tools like HP ALM, JIRA, etc.
- Writing maintainable test cases, improving, and upgrading existing Checklists & Testing Suites
- Setting up and updating the test environment and tools
- Strong coding skills (e.g. Java, C/C++ and/or other languages such as Python, Shell script, Ruby)
- Should have excellent debugging, troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with the team
- Good knowledge of relational databases.
Job Responsibilities:
- Will be part of the Platform QA team.
- Will be working on the implementation of JIRA as a test management tool.
- While doing so he closely needs to work with the platform test manager.
- Understand a set of tools currently used by the Calypso QA organization.
- Understanding tools and implementation techniques used across calypso.
- Gain an overview of the testing approach followed.
- Understand the scope of Test tool implementation.
- Conduct Proof of concepts with tools available and showcase it to management.
- After successful completion of Proof of concept, he will need to implement JIRA as test management with the help of Platform test manager and Release engineering team.
- Will be also responsible to understand JIRA as a test management tool in detail.
- Will be part of all demos which will be delivered to all QA teams across.
- Will be required to support any other QA assignments as an informed from time to time by QA Manager.
- All in all, he will be involved in all phases right from identifying proper tools, performing proof of concepts to full implementation
