Job Description:

• Calixis is hiring for Graduate Trainee (QA Intern).
• Job Type: Full Time.
• Join the Calix Commerce team as a Quality Assurance (QA) intern, to work with a team of highly skilled professionals engaged in building solutions to empower and transform Commercial Operations at Calix.
• We are looking for a detail-oriented QA intern to help ensure quality, usability and reliability of our Commerce Web Applications.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science/Information Technology or related streams.
• Should have graduated in 2024/2025.
• Nice to have – familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira, familiarity with API testing with tools like Postman/Insomnia.
• Good understanding of software development and testing life cycle.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Familiar with functional concepts and terms related to web applications.
• Ability to document and communicate issues clearly.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist in manual testing of web applications.
• Write and execute test cases based on requirements.
• Assist in creation of sample test data based on requirements.
• Report bugs and inconsistencies with clear documentation and reproduction steps.
• Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects.
• Participate in test planning and issue tracking discussions with local and global teams.
• Perform regression and smoke tests before production releases.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and weekly check-in calls with local and global teams.
