Eligibility Criteria:

• 0-2 years of experience.
• Four year degree in technical or engineering field (BS in Computer Science, Electronics, Mathematics or related discipline strongly preferred).
• Minimum BE or MCA for Bangalore, India.
• Ability to pass a background check may also be required.
• Physical requirements include sitting for long periods of time.

• Working knowledge of web technologies such as IIS, ASP.Net, XML, web services, MVC, AJAX, JSON, etc.

Optional Skills:

• Experience with Agile Development Methodologies, such as Scrum, is a plus.
• Experience with automation or tool development is a plus.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (or other Cloud-based environments) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Contact Center environments such as Predictive Dialers, ACDs, Unified Contact Center applications, workforce management applications, or analytics applications is a plus.

Job Description:

• The Associate QA Engineer is a primary functional tester of components for enterprise-level Workforce Management and Performance Management applications.
• The engineer works in a fast-paced, nimble scrum team, and owns creating/executing tests to verify User Stories.

Job Responsibilities:

• Tests software products through the use of systematic procedures to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.
• Responsible for participating in the evolution and execution of procedures for ensuring the quality of new features and releases of software.
• Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans for manual and/or automated tests.
• Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures.
• Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
• Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
• Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.
• Isolates, reproduces and tracks bugs, and verifies fixes.
• Carries out test executions in a high paced and dynamic product environment.
• Ensures completion of deliverables and adherence to timelines/budgeted effort.
• Adheres to Product Development Life Cycle Standards (PDLC).
• Assists in the assessment and planning of test efforts required for new functions/features under development.
