Job Description:
- AMD is looking for a recent college graduate for an exciting role in CPU libraries optimization team.
- This person will be a member of a core team and will work with the latest hardware and software technology.
- The person will interact closely with key AMD technical experts to ensure the best possible performance and results on AMD platforms.
- The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for developing/optimization and testing of the CPU libraries for AMD processors.
- This is a great opportunity to work as a part of highly regarded team to deliver leading edge solutions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- Proven c/c++ programming skills along with algorithms, data structure skills.
- Any prior industry experience is a bonus.
- Basic understanding of processor architecture in Cache sub-system, Instruction Set Architecture.
- Familiarity with assembly programming for x86 architectures.
- Decent understanding on performance bottlenecks.
- Knowledge of one or more CPU Profiling tools.
- Ability to quickly learn new skills and drive completion of business goals.
- Excellent verbal/written communication.
