Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Masters degree preferred.
- Good programming skill in any of the programming languages (C, C++, Java etc.)
- Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
- Strong knowledge in OOPS concepts is a must.
- Strong understanding of writing test plans, test cases and scripts required
- Understanding of agile, iterative SDLC (e.g., Agile, SCRUM, etc.) environment is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with Minimal Supervision.
Job Description:
- Design, Implement, and execute tests on the Aclara Software Suite.
- This person will also be responsible for creating and maintaining an automated test framework to ensure future changes do not break existing interfaces.
Job Responsibilities:
- Become familiar with the software under test and gain product knowledge.
- Design and create test cases and scripts to address technical and business use cases.
- Perform regression testing of defects.
- Create and document detailed Test Cases from Use Cases and other requirement documents.
- Design, document, and execute regression tests.
- Create automated tests to verify system interfaces.
- Report test results to the stakeholders.
- Design, document, and execute comprehensive test suites to validate new/changed functionality within several existing applications.
