Job Description:

• S&P Global is hiring for Apprentice (Software Development) – Hyderabad, Gurgoan.
• Duration: 12 months.

Responsibilities & Impact:

• Gain hands-on experience with industry-standard technologies and tools.
• Learn about the syndicated loan industry and gain valuable insights into financial data management.
• Participate in agile development processes and contribute to sprint goals.
• Assist in the design, development, and testing of new features and enhancements for our loan servicing platform.
• Collaborate with the development team to implement and maintain high-quality code.

Basic Required Qualifications:

• Currently Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Fundamental understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language C#, VB.Net, Java, Python, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Inquisitive spirit that is not afraid to ask questions and seek full understanding.
• Self-motivated to make the most of every opportunity.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with code, documentation, and design principles •
• Familiarity with database concepts and SQL.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
