Job Description:

• S&P Global is hiring Freshers For Apprentice (Database Systems) – Hyderabad.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management and maintenance of database systems.
• Monitor database performance, including system health and security.
• Participate in the implementation of database updates and patches.
• Support the development and deployment of new database features.
• Learn and apply new technologies and tools related to database management.
• Assist in the design of data storage solutions according to project requirements.
• Help in creating and maintaining documentation for database processes and decisions.
• Collaborate with IT staff to troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
• Participate in regular team meetings and provide updates on project status.
• Engage in educational opportunities to enhance technical knowledge and skill set.

Basic Required Qualifications:

• Fresher – B.Tech Computer Science or Information Technology (passing year 2023 or 2024 only).
• Knowledge in programming using Python/C#/Java or other languages and oops concepts.
• Knowledge in any of database, SQL/PL-SQL, writing queries and RDBMS.
• Willing to work in 24/5 environment on rotational shifts –  Regular.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of Windows/ Linux OS, Networking, 3-tier applications .
• Basic knowledge of Cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google) will be added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Github will be of advantage.
