Job Description:

• DuPont is hiring for QA Tester Trainee (IT Fresher Graduates – 2024/2023 Batch only).
• The QA Tester is responsible for the quality assurance of software products.
• The successful candidate will work directly with software developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify, isolate, and report defects in software.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Responsibilities:

• Testing software products to find out the defects.
• Participating in the development of test plans and test cases.
• Documenting and reporting test results to project stakeholders.
• Knowledge of software testing principles and experience with various testing types such as functional, smoke, sanity, regression, and integration testing.
• Assisting in the troubleshooting of defects and issues.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools such as DevOps.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or any script programming languages, and ability to write code to test software products.
• Familiarity with Selenium WebDriver and ability to write automated test scripts using Selenium.
• Passion for quality and best practices in software testing.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Understanding of database concepts such as SQL queries and ability to test databases using SQL.
• Understanding of source control tools such as Git.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery principles and understanding of the CI/CD pipeline.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with developers, testers, and other stakeholders.
• Participating in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and sprint retrospectives.
• Delivering high-quality software products within project timelines.
• Continuously learning new testing techniques and tools to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Sharing knowledge and best practices with other team members to improve overall quality and testing practices.
