Job Description:

• Harmonic is hiring for Associate SW Development Engineer.
• Work Location: Hybrid Role – working at 3-4 days a week from our office in Bangalore.

Who are we looking for? 

• We are looking for Associate SW Development Engineer for our Broadband Devices Team, where we’re pioneering the future of multigigabit connectivity.
• This role involves developing software features, collaborating with hardware teams, troubleshooting and debugging network devices and products, and resolving system-level issues.

What you will need to succeed:

• BE in Electronics and Communication or Computer Science with 85% or 8.5 CGPA.
• No current backlogs, no repeat year or gap in studies.
• Excellent at C++/C programming coding.
• Knowledge in Layer 2/3 networking protocols.
• Linux Knowledge – Advantage.
• Script tools/languages (Perl, Python, Bash, etc.) – advantage.
• High level of interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with different groups.
• Fluent English (writing and speaking).
