Job Description:

• Zoho is hiring for Software Developer & Content/Technical Writer.
• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
• Contribute in all phases of the product development life cycle.
• Write well-designed, testable and efficient code.
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
• Prepare and produce releases of software components.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Skill Set: C, C++ & Java.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in technical writing of software documentation.
• Excellent written skills in English.
• Expertise in MS Word/Zoho Writer and online help authoring tools.
• Strong understanding of web technologies and applications.
• Grasps domain and technical concepts with ease.
• Ability to ponder from a user perspective.
• Patience and perseverance to author content through the iterative approach.
• Delivers high-quality output by paying attention to details.
• Passionate about writing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams to obtain in-depth understanding of the product.
• Plan and execute end-to-end content development activity.
• Organise and write easy-to-understand online help manuals.
• Review the content with the editorial team and other stakeholders.
• Evaluate the manuals by testing with user personas.
• Standardize the content across platforms.
• Revise documents and provide updates as necessary.
• Create and publish SEO-optimised, relevant, original and compelling content.
• Contribute to creating rich content resources (articles, eBooks, infographics, solution guides, webinars, videos, etc.) to help business owners, and drive awareness.
• Choose the best channels to promote the content.
• Measure and analyse content’s effectiveness with metrics to improve the quality of content, and implement insights in the future.

• Kindly note that the work location could be anywhere in Tamil Nadu and we expect the candidates to work from the location informed post the interview process.
