Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic DevOps intern to join our team.
• As a DevOps intern, you will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and applications.
• You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with various DevOps tools and technologies, and contribute to the development of our infrastructure and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our infrastructure on-prem/cloud.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless deployment of applications.
• Automate deployment processes using tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, identifying areas for improvement.
• Assist in the development of CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with the team to ensure compliance with security and compliance standards.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and contribute to sprint planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project deliverables.

Requirements:

• Currently Pursuing a Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
