Job Description:

• Thermo Fisher Scientific is hiring for Automation Intern – Hyderabad Location.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering or its equivalent).
• Good understanding of Core Engineering subjects.
• Understanding of PLC or DCS fundamental concepts & programming (LD/ST/SFC/FB)
• Should be aware of Industry Network protocols OPC, Profibus, Ethernet IP & its usage.
• Aware of Agile methodologies and process.
• Excellent partnership and teamwork skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Study & understand BPG-SUD business unit product functionalities (Digitization Projects).
• Work on one or more focus area to define project requirements: Instrument automation; Module Developments; Data Acquisition; Data Modeling and Analysis.
• Learn review of work products from product owners / SME’s & review project requirements
• Develop Software for identified problem statement based on requirement.
• Apply software programming fundamentals to tackle problem statements.
• Setup development environment.
• Cadence project progress to collaborators.
• Aware of Software development lifecycle (Agile/V Model/Waterfall) methodologies.
• Establishes and maintains detailed and accurate documentation of work products.
• Demonstrate strong sense of ownership, vitality, and drive.
• Ability to work independently.
