Job Description:
- Cerner is looking for a new System Engineer.
- As a System Engineer at Cerner, you are responsible for operating Cerner’s Solution with the primary objectives of Upgrades, Service Pack applies, incident-free operations, and system uptime.
- In this role, your responsibilities include server configuration, Windows patches, third-party install, and upgrades, including pre- and post-install, configuration activities.
- Additionally, you are also expected to perform Windows server and solution administration, support the change execution process for Cerner solutions, attend the client calls, outages, and provide 24/7 On-call Support.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- At least 1 year of work experience on Windows 2012 server, SQL Server 2014 (Freshers can also apply).
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 6 months of experience working in the Windows environment & PowerShell.
- At least 6 months of experience in VMWare, Citrix.
